How to Soar Through Pathwords

Pathwords is the latest craze on Facebook. If you enjoy extending your mind while learning new words while retaining the bragging rights of the words you know, Pathwords is definitely a game for you. I want to touch on some shortcuts with this particular game because without the shortcuts, your score will never surpass those of the other players. The highest score I have found so far from any player is that of my own which is 1800. Here is how I achieved this high score.

I have found that merely clicking on each individual letter in forming words does not cut it with this game. When you click on each individual letter this takes up valuable time in forming the words and with this particular game, time is definitely of the essence. To save valuable time, simply “right click” on the letters in forming the words and keep the “right click” pressed down and you will find that you can scan over the letters in forming your words more quickly.

Another way in soaring through Pathwords is to pay close attention to detail. Everyone initially finds short words in trying to gain as many words as possible before the time expires. I have found that if you simply slow down just a little while paying attention to the short words, you will more than likely find the words are longer and this of course gives you extra points for the words you find.

You need to come up with a set strategy in locating the words. I have found that if you begin at the bottom of the letter compilations and work across, this allows more words to be formed at the top. Find as many words as possible on the bottom of the letter compilations and work your way across the bottom. After you find no more words can be formed, work your mouse to the middle. What this is doing is allowing you to make more room for more words at the top.

While you are locating words in the middle of the letter compilations, you will find that even more words will open up in the bottom of the letter compilations. When you can no longer find words in the middle of the letter compilations as well as the bottom, this is when you move to the top of the letter compilations. Typically, at the top of the letter compilations, you will find the most words there. Once you have completed word formations at the top, move back to the bottom of the letter compilations and begin your strategy once again.

If you want great practice with Pathwords, try playing other people at random. When you play other people, especially people you do not know, this creates a competitive edge and this is wonderful practice with Pathwords. Just keep in mind that when you play other people, the time is far shorter than the five minutes allotted when you play solo however you will find that your formation of words will come more quickly and you will build up your speed and endurance with this wonderful and fun game.
